R.Y.F.T (Revitalizing Youth For Tomorrow)
We have an obligation to all Bahamian children who have a desired passion to learn dance and its beauty. This is why RYFT was established to provide dance to disenfranchised youth living in some of our communities in Nassau. This also allow instructors to give back to the communities they came from. Classes are conducted every Saturday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Dance Bahamas School, free of charge for children 8 years – 15.
The goals of this programme are to:
• Inculcate a sense of pride and respect for self and others.
• Offer gifted students the opportunity to maximize their creative potential.
• Teach students about Bahamian dance culture and expose them to the world of dance through performances and workshops.
Students can be recommended by Church Group or Community Groups. If you require additional information, please feel free to contact DBS between the hours of 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday – Friday and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
